: Blueberry cultivars suited for northern climates need a minimum of 700 hours of chilling. Chilling occurs at temperatures between 32-45 degrees F. There are cultivars that are available that will grow in warmer climates and will require less chilling. Let me know the amount of chill hours you have in Ca. cnd I can reccomend the correct Cv.
