Acceptance to the program is a competitive process due the limited seats (24) available in the program. The selection process includes a full day of orientation at NSAC.
Applications are accepted until the February deadline (see application for exact date). In March/April, we conduct our application review process and orientation days. In late April we inform successful applicants to the program. Most years we also maintain a waitlist so acceptance to the program is possible throughout the summer preceding the fall start date.
Applicants must attend a one-day orientation session at NSAC. We give you a tour of our facilities and do our best to make sure that you are well-informed about the VT program and the career. In the afternoon, applicants complete an online computer aptitude test - something you can't study for. There is also a short interview and a questionnaire.
