Research Ethics Board
Research which involves the use of
human subjects must have approval from the NSAC Research Ethics
Board (REB). All research projects involving human subjects,
in the form of surveys, clinical research, etc., must be reviewed
for ethical considerations and be approved before the research
can begin. This includes both faculty research, graduate student
research, and institutional surveys as well as undergraduate
research surveys (i.e., RESM 4004/4005; RESM 4008/4009) involving
human subjects. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the approval to take
place (assuming that there are no major problems with the submission).
