Creation of new knowledge through research
is a core mission of NSAC and one in which we take pride.
The
research mission is to encourage, support and conduct research in agriculture, aquaculture, the environment, and related fields, recognizing that research and education are inextricably linked.
The main objectives are to advance knowledge and new technologies for environmental sustainability, rural growth and bioresource innovation in support of the agri-food and aquaculture industries and society at large.
We work with industry, government, and academic and
research institutions nationally and internationally
to carry out innovative research.
