Program Overview
Do you enjoy working with animals? Do you want to make difference
in the health and well-being of companion animals? If you answered
yes to these questions, then you are ready to explore a career
in veterinary technology.
Our two-year Veterinary Technology program is designed
to prepare you with the skills and knowledge required to function
as technical assistants to practising veterinarians, researchers
and other persons who deal with animals.
What’s so great about this program? It could be the small
class and lab sizes. It could be the hands-on experience - imagine a veterinary
clinic as your classroom! It could be the career preparation
- imagine assisting with surgeries, taking x-rays, and administering
medications! In fact, all of these things make being a Vet Tech
student rewarding!
