“Taking my first two years of Engineering at the NSAC
was a smart move on my part. I was offered the same education
as Engineering students at other Universities, played two varsity
sports and met an excellent group of people while taking my
degree. The small class sizes promoted the ability to get extra
help in courses when I needed it. The peer-tutoring program
at the NSAC also allowed students to gain that extra help from
someone at their own level, while tutors earned extra money
at no cost to the students. The professors at the NSAC really
do care about the success of their students, and in a program
as demanding as Engineering, this gives students the extra push
to succeed and be proud of their work.
" Not only did I gain a strong education, but also I was
provided with extremely beneficial summer employment. This enabled
me to further my learning in Engineering while getting involved
in the world of research. I feel thoroughly prepared by the
NSAC Engineering Diploma program as I head into my third year
of the Engineering Degree, debt-free at Dalhousie.”
