Additional Study Options

Upon completion of the Engineering Diploma at NSAC, you are guaranteed entrance into the Bachelor of Engineering program at Dalhousie University, where you can finish your program in an additional two years. Of course, you are welcome to apply to Engineering programs at other universities as well.

Once you complete your Engineering diploma at NSAC you also have the option to apply to the Dalhousie School of Architecture's two-year Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies program. This program can then lead to the professional two-year Master of Architecture program.

Demand is growing for engineers beyond the Bachelor's level. Graduate engineers with high academic grades at the undergraduate level can consider continuing on for master's or doctoral degrees, to gain further expertise for research, teaching, or consulting.
