Parent/ Supporter Pride
Welcome to NSAC, Mom and Dad!
Dear Parents,
Welcome to NSAC! This is a very exciting time for both you and your son or daughter, and we are pleased to be a part of this experience. As your student heads off to university, both of you will find the experience exciting and challenging. We’ve designed this website to help you recognize and prepare for these challenges, as well as providing an orientation to the academic and student services available at NSAC.
Everyone at NSAC is looking forward to supporting your son or daughter throughout the university experience. We have excellent programs in place to help your student excel academically, socially and personally, and we take great pride in the successes our students find both in and out of the classroom. As a parent, you are still a great influence, despite the fact that your student may not provide you with as much information as you’d like! University is a time for branching out, trying new things, learning more about yourself, your peers, and the world around you. Be sure to encourage your son or daughter to ask for help if they need it. We will be there every step of the way, and you are always welcome to get in touch about any concerns you may have.
Sincerely,
Leslie A. MacLaren
