Next Steps

You have already applied and been accepted to
NSAC. You know this is the school you want to attend. For every
student,
the question now is , "What do I do next?" At NSAC, we want
the transition to becoming a student to be as easy as possible.
Below are a list of steps to guide you through the process.
1. Pay tuition deposit of $200
(can be payed by cheque, cash, money order, debit, or credit
card)
2. If staying in residence, pay room deposit of $190 (can
be payed by same methods listed above)
3. Once tuition deposit is received, Office
of the Registrar will send you out a registration package which
includes a NSAC
calendar, course time table, registration booklet with instructions
on how to register and a permit to register letter giving you
your own personal ID and password for our Web Advisor system.
4. Once you receive your registration package through the
mail, you are now all set to register.
Web Registration Procedures (as outlined in Registration Booklet
sent by NSAC)
Step 1: Organize your registration material
Step 2: Determine your list of courses
Step 3: Fill out your Timetable Planning Form
Step 4: Register for your courses via the Web
Step 5: Pay your fees
If you are having trouble registering or want NSAC’s
help in any way, please contact us at 1-888-700-6722 or email
us at reg@nsac.ca
5. Approximately a month before classes start,
all students who have paid their $200 tuition deposit will
receive
information
packages
from
NSAC
Student Services. This package will include a Truro’s
Visitor’s Guide and a map of NSAC campus. The package
will also include information about our student services departments
such as: Health Services, Financial Services, Education Support
Services and NSAC Athetics to name a few.
An Orientation Week schedule will be included which outlines
the entire first week of your NSAC experience. This lets you
know everything from “when you can move into your residence
room” to “when you can receive you Student ID Card."
* Students who pay their tuition deposit after the first package
send-out will receive one in the mail as soon as we receive
your deposit.
6. Now that you’ve registered for your courses and received
all of the appropriate information from NSAC, all that is left
for you to do is pack your bags and prepare yourself to meet
many new people and have an awesome time at NSAC!
See you in September!
