Overage Dependant Form
Please read this e-mail if you are a member of the Province’s health and dental benefits plans and have dependent children over 21 who are covered by your plan.
Dependent children between the ages of 21-25 are eligible to participate in these plans as long as they are attending college, university, or other accredited educational institution as full-time students. However an Over Age Dependent Form must be completed at the start of the school year in order for them to be eligible for benefits coverage. This form is located at the following address: http://www.gov.ns.ca/psc/v2/employeeCentre/benefits/
Please complete and return by fax to 902-424-0756, or scan and e-mail to www.PSCBenefitInquiries@gov.ns.ca or mail to Nova Scotia Public Service Commission, Benefits, PO Box 943, Halifax, NS B3J 2V9.
Updated Blue Cross identification cards will be mailed to your home address by the end of September 2010. Coverage for your dependent will be terminated if your form is not received by August 31, 2010.
Please disregard this notice if you have completed this form for the 2010/11 school year.
NSAC: An Artist's Perspective
NSAC, along with the Truro Art Society, will be hosting an art exhibit at the Marigold Cultural Centre August 3 at 6:30 p.m.

OH&S Workplace Inspections
The 2010 OH&S Workplace Inspections are due into the Safety & Security Office on or before August 31, 2010.
NSAC Harvest Shin-Dig
This years shin-dig is being held on August 27th from 9 p.m.-1a.m. at Jenkins Hall! It will be a night full of live music and lots of dancing. The event is open to staff, students, Faculty and Friends.
Music is being provided live by the band “Merimac” from Halifax. If you would like a sample of their music or to know a little more about them click here to check out their facebook page.
Tickets are being sold for $12. Two dollars from every ticket sold is being donated to “Caring for Cancer Patients, Truro”. Tickets can be found in many locations across campus:
