Look around...
As the university with the fastest growing enrollment in Atlantic Canada, it's time for some of NSAC's marketing efforts to shift focus a bit. With more attention being made to the university as a whole and the amazing things our people do, 21 unique activities, aka. brand splashes, are planned. Here's some footage of the first one.

Hello from Recruitment!
As University Day approaches, we've been busy organizing all of the fine details to ensure the day runs smoothly. Our Student Ambassadors have been quite active in helping to plan the event along with preparing for U-101, the Expo, our meal, campus tours and so much more! You will see a remarkable difference this year throughout campus as each of our teams wear a different colour and perform specific duties.
Please note that I am preparing the floor plan for the Expo this week and would like all expo planning forms to be returned to me as soon as possible.
Ashley has been working hard on our Leadership Banquet and please note that the selection committee is meeting early next week to choose some of our outstanding leaders for specific awards. Please take the time to fill out a ballot and submit it to Ashley in the Recruitment Office. Ashley is also preparing to meet with several international student currently enrolled in semester programs at our local high schools on Feb.25. During the past few weeks she has traveling throughout the province, meeting with students who have expressed interest in NSAC.
Janet is already working on Orientation 2010 and is preparing for the International Potato Expo and hosting a nutrition break for 120 competitors at the Canadian Junior Freestyle Ski Championships at Ski Wentworth on Feb.25.
Brian has reported that his time in India has been very successful and we look forward to his return next week. He has been visiting high schools, along with TNAU, our counterpart in Coimbatore to continue to recruit students to our joint program. So far, we have had the pleasure to welcome two students into the program and they have settled in to NSAC quite well.
Sandra is busy working on all things scholarships and before we know it, she will be scheduling high school graduation attendance, in addition to helping all of us with our daily tasks.
Along with co-ordinating University Day, I am preparing for my recruitment trip to Colombia, where I will be visiting several English speaking high schools and a few agricultural universities and colleges. Like my success in China, I hope to bring back applications from high school students along with making some valuable connections with universities and colleges.
Until next time,
Monica
