Hello from Recruitment
We would like thank staff, faculty and
students for their help during the past few months. Without
your help, many
of our
tours, visits and recruitment activity would not be possible.
Since Christmas, we've been reviewing our Student Information
System, spreadsheets and internet inquiries and have been
very pleased with the level of interest the high school students
have shown since September.
We are now in the process of sending invitations to our prospective
students, guidance counselors and teachers for our 10th Annual
University Day! Please note the date on your calendar - Monday
March 2nd, 2009!
I've called a general Recruitment Committee meeting and have
had wonderful response from all departments! I'm looking
forward to planning our next recruitment activities! It's
hard to believe
that this cycle is drawing to an end, as we look from April
to March as a cycle.
So far, our US inquiries are up and several students from
Maine have expressed interest in visiting NSAC, with one
student
already having taken the drive down in December for a visit!.
For now,
Monica
