Scholarship Spotlight

Operation Red Nose Bursaries Presented
NSAC Students’ Union has sponsored two new scholarships which were presented for the first time at NSAC’s Scholarship Banquet. The bursaries are provided with donations received during last year’s Operation Red Nose (ORN) campaign. Colette Wyllie, NSAC Students’ Union president, is shown congratulating Will Shaw, Truro, NS, a fourth year B.Sc.(Agr.) Environmental Sciences student, with a $400 Operation Red Nose Bursary. Absent at the time of photo was Susan Sipos, Maitland, NS, a first year Bachelor of Administration (Honours) International Food Business student, who was the recipient of a $200 Operation Red Nose Bursary.

Crystal Fullerton, an Agricultural Technician at the NSAC Sheep Unit is also an accomplished and renown artist. She has recently completed a private commission by Jersey Canada of their True Type Model Cow which will be used extensively in promotional avenues both nationally and internationally.
Prints are available at $50.00 Canadian (taxes included but any shipping costs extra) on a first come, first served basis. The first run for Crystal's work is 35 numbered prints.
