The Swan Song Raffle 2008
Bonnie Waddell and the MacRae Library
Staff, are sponsoring a special fund raising effort for
the university. The prize
(valued at $300) is the National Audubon Society’s :
Audubon’s
Birds of America (Baby Elephant Folio Edition), edited
by Roger Tory Peterson and Virginia Marie Peterson. This
giant
book
was donated by Mr. H. Douglas Boyce of Bible Hill, for

to the MacRae Library. All proceeds for the Library Trust

Network Service Outage - July 8, 2008
Location: Entire NSAC Campus (including NSAC Residences),
Agritech Park and Department of Agriculture Buildings.
Start: July 8, 2008 5 p.m.
End: July 8, 2008 6:30 p.m.
Duration: 1 hour & 30 minutes
Full Description:
Our network service provider is conducting important upgrades
to their fiber optic network at the NSAC and Department
of Agriculture in Truro on Tuesday July 8, 2008 from 5
p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This outage will prevent any and all
forms of wide area network and internet access from this
site
for one and a half hours.

Climate Change Education
The film "An Inconvenient Truth" will be viewed by the
graduate module course ‘Climate
Change and Agricultural Adaptation’ (Dr. Hong Li).
The film will be playing on Wednesday, July 9 at 2:30 p.m.
in Cox Institute, room 164. Everyone is welcome to come watch
the film!
NSAC Open House 2008
NSAC Annual Open House will take place on Thursday, July
24 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The first official Open House
was in July of 1971, making this the 37 year for the event!
Come enjoy the day with us and take in all the fun events
like
garden tours, live animals, "ask the Plant Doctor" hands-on
