Memorial Tree Planting - W. John Higgins
Kingsbrae Garden in Saint Andrews, NB, is planning a tree
planting memorial in the Garden to honour the passing of John
Higgins John was the Landscape Instructor at NBCC Woodstock
from 2001 - 2006. John taught at the NSAC as instructor for
the Landscape Horticulture Program from September 1978 until
April 1998.
Andreas Haun, General Manager of the 27-acre horticultural
public garden, stated "since John left his mark on the
Garden in the form of planting with his students and in the
Garden in the lecacy of his students working here, we would
like to plant a memorial tree in the spring".
John's son Zachary and his brother Abe have agreed to this
memorial and they (with perhaps their families) will be in
attendance for this event to be held on May 13, 2007 (time
to be determined, but proposed for 1:00 p.m.).
Friends, former students, and co-workers of John are invited
to attend this event in May.

session interactive, fun and extremely beneficial. We have
excellent facilitators lined up – from our very own faculty.
