Orientation at NSAC
On September 6th, a fresh group of NSAC Frosh will enter the
campus and a new phase of their academic and personal lives.
The Registrar expects about 225 new faces in a combination of
degree, technical and graduate programs. New students will be
kept busy with a variety of activities during their first few
days that will help orient them to the programs, campus, fellow
students and the community at large. Check out the orientation
schedule at nsac.ca/orientationschedule.
Centennial Flower Display
We hope you have noticed the wonderful floral version of the
Centennial logo at the end of the playing field on Pictou Road.
Designed and created by Sherry Chaisson of Environmental Sciences,
this is a highly visible reminder of our Centennial year.
Have a look.

Exhibition Learning
The NSAC returned to the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition
for the first time in over a decade with a major presence. Interactive
information from a range of research and teaching options was
presented and over 40 staff members volunteered to be at the
booth at different times Hundreds visited over the course
of the week. This excellent effort in awareness for NSAC was
lead by Sarah Morris and Jenna Tingley. Thanks and congratulations.
