Engineering Open House
Staff, students and alumni will be hosting the
annual Engineering Program Open House, Wednesday, November
3rd from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m in the Banting Engineering
building. Everyone is invited to chat with professors and students,
past and present, over refreshments, find out about integrated engineering
coursework, enter a draw for a book scholarship for the 2005/06

Festive Craft Market
The annual NSAC Festive Craft Market will be held this year on Saturday,
November 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 21,
11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Langille Atheltic Centre. The Market
features over 70 exhibitors including pottery, glass, natural wreaths,

Raging Grannies Perform at NSAC
The Rural Research Centre's Rural Studies Fortnight series culminated
on Thursday, October 28th with a lively performance by the Raging
Grannies. The Raging Grannies performed songs on the environment
and other issues of concern to Canadian citizens. Rural Studies
Fortnight 2004 centreded its events around the theme of global climate
change and its impact on rural communitities.

NSAC Heritage Contest -Question
Set # 2 now available
The NSAC Heritage Contest is well underway with Question Set # 1
launched during Homecoming Weekend October 16th. The second set
of questions
in a series of five is now available online.
Wool blankets, sweaters and framed prints are just some of the
prizes you can win by answering 100 multiple choice questions on
the history of NSAC.
You can pick up a hard copy of the questions at NSAC Student Services,
the MacRae Library or at the Registry.
Completed sets of the questionnaires can be submitted until the
end of January, 2005. Four groups of prizes will be awarded on the
100th birthday event, February 14, 2005.
