Class of ‘99 Works the Net

The NSAC Class of ‘99 gets top marks for cashing in on the technological revolution. The 1999 Graduate Employment booklet will be online this year thanks to the efforts of fourth year students, Beth Armstrong, Audrey Langille, Melanie Le Blanc and Cheala Emmett. The online format will replace the traditional booklet produced by the graduating class and include grad photos along with information on the student's program, project topic, work experience, activities and achievements.

The students will then send letters to employers who would traditionally have received the booklet, making them aware of the site and the process. "The master plan is to have everyone who is online to leave a resume with Career services so employers can easily access the information they need," explained Audrey. The site should be completed and online in April.
