NSAC Career Fair January 12th 2011
Bible Hill--Bankers, landscapers and researchers are only a few of the professionals who will be taking part in NSAC Career Fair 2011 Wednesday, January 12th at the Langille Athletic Centre on the university’s Bible Hill campus.
The one-day event provides an opportunity for NSAC students to talk to representatives from more than 30 companies, government departments, farm organizations and other agencies involved in the Atlantic agriculture industry.
“Career Fair is a great way for employers to meet up with potential candidates. It provides a neutral ground where people are more comfortable approaching employers," explained Rebecca Veenhuis, co-ordinator of this year's event. "We have over 30 companies and groups lined up to attend this year with lots to interest all. We welcome everyone to come out and see what opportunities exist."
NSAC Career Fair 2011 provides students with a window to the real world and an opportunity to broaden their definition of agriculture and associated careers.
Career Fair 2011 is open from 1-6 pm, Wednesday January 12th and the public is invited to attend. Storm date is January 13th.
