Come to the Nova Scotia Agricultural College
Open House on Thursday, July 24, 2008!
Whether you visit NSAC to learn about our
cutting-edge research in Aquaculture or Environmental
Sciences, to enjoy a wagon ride or play in
the corn sandbox,
NSAC Open House has something
for everyone!

Plan on spending the day with us on Thursday,
July 24 from 10 a.m.– 2
p.m.
and take in all the fun events like garden tours,
live animals, "ask the Plant Doctor" hands-on
science fun, great food and much more. |
Don't forget to bring along your sick teddy bear for
our Teddy Bear Clinic.
Special Attractions:
- Garden Tours – Our beautiful Alumni Gardens,
Rock Garden and Butterfly Garden will be
open for touring. Friends of the Garden volunteers
will
be present to
give tours and provide information.
- Wagon Rides – Tour the campus the
old fashioned way. Wagons will be traveling
across
the entire
campus on a regular basis starting at 10:00
a.m. Stops will
be behind Haley Institute, Cumming Hall,
Cox Institute, and the Ruminant Animal
Centre.
- Free Ice Cream – Come visit us at
the Information Booth on the front lawn
of Cumming
Hall. Here
we will be serving up ice cream, compliments
of Scotsburn Dairy.
- Chartwells BBQ – Our campus caterer
will be outside of Jenkins Hall serving
up hotdogs,
hamburgers and
beverages for purchase.
