Students, Classes, 4H Clubs & Families are encouraged to
explore the amazing
career opportunities associated with our agri-food industry.
The job market for NSAC graduates is currently very strong.
Bankers, landscapers and researchers are only a few of the
professionals who will be taking part in the 12th Nova Scotia
Agricultural College (NSAC) Career Fair. The fair takes place
October 3rd at the Langille Athletic Centre on the university’s
Bible Hill campus.
The one-day event provides an opportunity for NSAC students
to talk to representatives from government departments, farm
organizations and other agencies involved in the Atlantic agri-food
industry.
“The NSAC Career Fair will help to broaden student’s
definition of agriculture and the kinds of careers associated
with it,” said Sharon Oakley, NSAC Career Fair Coordinator.
“ It’s important for students to have this chance
to talk with people in different areas of employment and to
learn what they can expect when they graduate.” The Career
Fair provides a window to the real world.
High school students are also encouraged to visit Career Fair
‘07 as it provides an excellent opportunity to learn about
the innovative programs of study offered by the university.
NSAC is a specialized university that cultivates learning and
research, focusing on improving and sustaining our environment
for the health and well-being of society.
Career Fair ‘07 is open from 10:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m., Wednesday,
