NSAC student wins new Outstanding Young Farmer
scholarship
Robyn McCallum, a student at NSAC
in Truro, NS, is the first recipient of a new
annual scholarship from Canada’s
Outstanding Young Farmers (OYF) program. Robyn
was chosen from 19 applicants, all pursing
post secondary education in agriculture, for
the $1,000 OYF Memorial Scholarship established

Farmers for 2010
Nova Scotia organic vegetable producers Josh
Oulton and Patricia Bishop are Atlantic Canada’s
2010 Outstanding Young Farmers (OYF). The couple
from Port Williams, NS were named at a recent banquet in Charlottetown, PEI
as part of the PEI Potato Expo. They will represent Atlantic Canada at the
