Mr. Cory Roberts

Cory most recently hails from Guelph, Ontario where he was working as a research technician in the Department of Land Resource Science at the University of Guelph. He has been involved in a range of projects related to soil quality surveys, precision agriculture research, and organic farm nutrient budgeting. You are as likely to find him in the field with a shovel as you are to find him in the lab calibrating analytical instruments.

Gasification and Alternative Energy Technology Research Technician

Mr. Douglas Burris

Doug has extensive experience working with engines and energy production technologies, from both a practical and a research perspective.  He was worked on a diverse array of projects in the Department of Engineering. Doug will be particularly involved in the design and development of an energy capture sub-system of a gasification unit being studied through my research program.  More often than not, you will find Doug holding pieces of something he’s taken apart but invariably they find their way back safely where they belong.
