Today’s society is increasingly a global world. Communities
from around the globe are interdependent, businesses operate
on a world-wide basis, and environmental and social issues
affect all countries. NSAC is committed to providing an
international dimension for students, staff and faculty,
and NSAC International serves as the centre for internationalization
of the campus.
We do this by our involvement in international development projects,
where faculty, staff and students learn first-hand the concerns
and priorities of other countries and work with our overseas partners
to find solutions. We do this by encouraging students to take
part in the courses we offer overseas and to participate in student
exchange programs. We do this by assisting researchers seeking
international partners and funding sources. We do this by changing
our curriculum and course content to reflect the global nature
of the agri-food system, and to provide students with more opportunities
for international courses and programs. We do this by encouraging
students from other countries to come to NSAC to be part of our
innovative and vibrant community.
