International Activities
I derive both personal and professional satisfaction from
my international work as this allows me to share some of my
scientific knowledge for the betterment of our world while
at the same time becoming a better informed global citizen
myself. Students in my classroom are often regaled with vignettes
of my international experiences from Ethiopia, Jamaica, China,
the Philippines, Malaysia, Ghana, and The Gambia. I consider
this an important part of sharing and internationalizing the
NSAC campus community.
Following is a partial list of the international activities
that I have been involved with both in- Canada and internationally.
