Prof. Carol D. Goodwin

Associate Professor

Carol D. Goodwin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at NSAC. She teaches subjects related to arboriculture, landscape management, garden history and garden design, as well as plant ID. Her research is in the area of cultivation practices that affect tree health and longevity, as well as propagation and production of native plant species. Carol coordinates international student exchanges for students in landscape programs at the College. Carol is the faculty coordinator for the College’s Master Gardener program, available by distance delivery. She is a visiting lecturer for the Horticulture Department at Writtle College in Chelmsford, Essex, England, and the Landscape Design Department at HÄME Polytechnic in Lepaa, Finland. She really loves all aspects of landscape and environmental horticulture – and hopes you will, too!
