The Department of Environmental Sciences carries out research and offers technical, undergraduate and post-graduate courses in biology, chemistry (including environmental and food chemistry), pest management, agricultural environmental sciences, and environmental horticulture. Graduate studies related to pest management, agricultural, environmental and food chemistry, environmental sciences, waste management and soil nutrient management are offered in this department. The Department is home to the Atlantic Turfgrass Research Centre.
