Originally, I am from Amherst, Nova Scotia where I lived on a small beef farm, giving me a general interest in agriculture and farm machinery. I attended NSAC, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture with a major in Agricultural Mechanization (current Bio-Environmental Systems Management major). During my studies here at NSAC, I was a competing member of the NSAC Woodsmen Team, and still serve as a Coach for the team.

My technical expertise falls under the categories of equipment design and fabrication, food processing plant equipment design and fabrication, and farm machinery repair. I have technical skills in welding, hydraulics, conveying systems, and basic metal machining. I became a member of the NSAC Engineering Department Technical staff in October of 2006.
