4th Generation Attends NSAC

The Newcombe family from Port Williams have quite an alumni connection! Robert Newcombe (second from left) is the fourth generation Newcombe of that name to attend NSAC. His grandfather Robert H. Newcombe graduated in 1946, and his great grandfather was in the class of 1907.

Robert's parents (centre), Geneve and Robert Craig, are class of 1986. Besides Robert's parents, his two uncles Andrew and Brian and their spouses Audrey and Edna are also NSAC grads. Robert begins his studies in engineering this semester. Second year student Ben Roy (far right), who joined the family for lunch in Jenkins Hall during Student Orientation 2008, has a few alumni connections as well; Ben's brother Nick is a NSAC graduate as well as is his uncle Robert Cogswell. Robert's brother David (far left) is in grade 11, and while he has not made any firm plans for post secondary education, NSAC is a “strong possibility!”
