Reminder: New Bursary for Family of Alumni Attending NSAC

Are you an alumn with family attending NSAC this Fall? You should be aware that several $1,000 and $500 bursaries are now available annually to family members of NSAC Alumni studying at NSAC, and that the deadline to apply for these bursaries is September 19. More.

NSAC Open House

Thousands of visitors flocked to campus when NSAC hosted its 37th annual Open House on July 24. Judging from the amount of smiles, visitors of all ages enjoyed themselves. More

Ceilidh at NSAC

During the evening of open house NSAC held a ceilidh, or party, for all NSAC, alumni, faculty, staff and their families. Guests enjoyed an evening of great food and company. Toe-tapping entertainment was provided by Fiddles and Feet. Dwane Mellish and Arnold Hagen represented the Alumni Association and Laurie Hennigar attended on behalf of the NSAC Foundation. Mr. Mellish brought greetings and remarks from the association.

NSAC Graduate Students Receive NSERC Scholarships

Environmental Sciences Students receive top awards at Annual Meeting of CSHS

Graduate students with NSAC's Environmental Sciences Department were recognized for their excellence in research at the Annual Meeting of the Canadian Society for Horticultural Sciences (CSHS). More


Athletics

There was a strong turnout of Alumni at the 12th annual Agri-Golf classic at the New Glasgow Hills resort and golf club in Prince Edward Island. 30 teams and 150 players had a shotgun start at the event on July 25. More

NSAC Athletic Director Wins National Award

Judy Smith, NSAC Athletics Director and Dean of Student Services, was recently named Athletic Director of the Year by the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA). More
