Alumni Chronicles - First Speaker March 18th, 2005
As a Centennial project, NSAC has developed a series of afternoon social/seminars in an effort to showcase the accomplishments of our alumni. Each session will be given by a graduate who has made a significant contribution since graduation. This contribution may be scientific, entrepreneurial, social or in any other way which enhances our society. Our first presentation will be held on Friday, March 18th. More

Blue and Gold Awards Luncheon 2005
As part of Homecoming 2005, the Centennial edition, a Blue and Gold Awards luncheon will be held to honour the many accomplishments of our alumni membership. We are soliciting your support and input by way of nomination of deserving individuals for several awards including: the Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award, the Young Alumni Achievement Award and our Distinguished Alumnus Award. For nomination criteria and eligibility please read on.

Distant Alumni Contacts
There are opportunities for NSAC alumni to volunteer with Chapters or Branches even in geographic areas without formal branches. Chapters or branches typically occur where there is a concentration of alumni living or working in a specific area. The Alumni office is currently working to build a system of Distant Alumni Contacts (DACs) throughout Canada. These contacts would provide support to the NSAC in a variety of capacities in their area. DACs can assist in planning and hosting events in their area when University staff will be in the area or for more regular, informal gatherings with alumni in the area. More

Centennial Homecoming Weekend 2005

Come and enjoy a weekend of great entertainment. Please keep posted to our Homecoming web site for additional details as they develop.

Life Beside the Shadow
Life Beside the Shadow is the story of Abebaw, NSAC’s 2004-2005 WUSC sponsored student.......

The WUSC Student Refugee Program began in 1977. WUSC or World University Service of Canada, coordinates a program that privately sponsors refugee students to come to Canada to pursue secondary education. In doing so, WUSC has been working towards achieving its objective of "promoting human development and global understanding through education and training". By assisting people whose education has been interrupted by war and/or persecution, WUSC's Student Refugee Program also contributes to greater understanding among students and faculty and staff on Canadian campuses to the situation of refugees throughout the world. Here is his story
