Pre-Conference Tour

For those of you who plan to arrive in Truro early, we are preparing a choice of two pre-conference tours; the first an afternoon tour and the second a full day tour.

Afternoon Tour

The afternoon tour of the Horticultural Skills training program at Nova Institution for Women, Truro.has been withdrawn, as there is not sufficient time left to process the required security clearance.

Full day Tour

The second tour will be an all day visit to Tatamagouche and surrounding area. We will first stop at a maple sugaring farm, then a lavender farm. We will stop in the village for lunch (included) and visit a developing community based Horticultural Therapy program. We will end the afternoon with a tour of a local winery. If you decided that you would like to participate in the tour after you have registered for the conference, please contact Norman Goodyear to reserve a seat. You will then pay for the tour at registration after you arrive in Truro.
