Students interested in continuing their academic education after receiving their diploma may wish to consider the following:
A B.Sc. (Agr.) at NSAC. Students who have graduated from the NSAC technical diploma program and have been admitted to the B.Sc.(Agr.) shall be awarded a minimum of 10 credits toward the NSAC B.Sc. (Agr.) program.
Graduates of NSAC's technical diploma programs are eligible to apply to other universities in Canada to complete a degree in agriculture. For example, the University of Manitoba allows students with an agricultural business diploma to enter the 3rd year of their B.Sc. AGR (some conditions apply). Olds College in Alberta has a Bachelor of Applied Science where graduates of a technical diploma in agriculture complete two more years to obtain a degree. Outside the country, NSAC's partner Dronten University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands accepts diploma graduates into their 1.5 year Bachelor degree in Equine Management and in other agricultural specialities.
