What will you learn?
The core curriculum provides students with a solid grounding
in a variety of subjects including Marketing, Entrepreneurship,
Accounting, Financial Management , Communications, Economics,
Business Law, Human Resource Management, Business Writing and
Business Math.
And then depending on the option you select, some of the courses
you will take will cover the following topics:

Equine: animal biology, soil management,
animal feed and nutrient management, animal behavior, equine
health and nutrition, equine reproduction, genetics, equine
facilities management, animal welfare. |

Dairy Farming: animal biology, animal
feed and nutrient management, soil management, dairy herd
health and nutrition, bovine reproductive and genetic performance,
milking systems and facilities management, record keeping. |

Companion Animal: companion animal growth
and development, companion animal behavior, health, genetics
and reproduction, facilities management and biology and
care of reptiles, birds, small animals and aquarium species,
animal welfare. |

Farming: you can mix and match the courses
that best suit your future career in agriculture. Soil
management, environmental management, cropping systems,
and make selections from many plant and animal courses. |

Greenhouse and Nursery : nutrition management, hydroponics, grafting, tissue culture, plant patents, trademarking, landscape & plant trends, destination marketing. |
