Resume Tips
Make it clear and easy to read.
Be complete - there is no "right" length.
Use the same font throughout - you can change
the font size and visual attributes, but don't use different
fonts.
Take a look at the "whole picture" - is there
any white holes or empty spots?
Use a good bond paper in a light shade (use plain
white if faxing).
Get it proofread by the Career Services Office,
a friend, a relative, a prof, etc. Others will pick up grammatical
and spelling errors that you may not see.
Attend a resume writing workshop at the Career
Services Office.
