This job will involve manipulating data with custom scripts written in a standard programming language (e.g. C, Java or Python) and will require extensive knowledge of database management in SQL. The successful candidate will also be expected to help with field work on occasion.
Qualifications:
Must be enrolled as a student for 2012-2013.
Knowledge of genetics and previous experience with DNA sequence data generated from next-generation DNA sequencing platforms will be considered a major asset.
