INTERVIEW TIPS

Research the company - be prepared for company related questions

Decide on your outfit - ask others if it seems appropriate

If you are unfamiliar with the area, take a drive (or walk) over and find exactly where you have to go

Come to the Career Services Office for a mock/practice interview

Get a good night's rest

Be mindful of personal hygiene - no perfume as most places are scent-free now

Be early - give yourself a few minutes to compose yourself

Chat with the receptionist - it will help loosen you up and he/she may have a vote in the selection process

Give a firm handshake - practice beforehand if you need to

Look your interviewer(s) in the eye

Be polite, respectful, and complete in your answers

Above all, RELAX!
