Last Class BBQ/Ring Presentations
NSAC’s Alumni Association will be hosting a BBQ for all members of the Class of ’10 in Riverview Room, Jenkins Hall. Students who order their grad rings during the first week of March will also be presented with their rings at this event.

Thursday, May 6th, 2010

Presentation of NSAC Class of 2010 Gift to the University
Students from the graduating class present the gift from the Class of 2010 to NSAC in a brief ceremony prior to the Graduation Banquet.

5:00pm (Tentatively) Location : The Rock Garden, near main arched entrance.

NSAC Class of 2010 Baccalaureate Service
The baccalaureate service is held in Alumni Theatre, Cumming Hall, NSAC. 5:30pm.

NSAC Class of 2010 Graduation Banquet
The graduation banquet is a celebration of the achievements and success of the graduating students. Banquet consists of a greeting from NSAC Administration, welcome to the Alumni Association, guest speaker, presentation of awards, as well as the Life Officers and Valedictorian for NSAC ‘s Class of 2010.

Grads receive a complementary ticket

NSAC Class of 2010 Graduation Social
A social is held at NSAC’s Students' Union "The BARN", where faculty, parents and students can continue to enjoy the celebration. This a great chance for parents and/or supporters to meet professors or friends of their graduating student. There will be music and a cash bar.

NSAC Convocation 2010 Rehearsal
The rehearsal for the convocation ceremony is held at the NSAC Langille Athletic Centre. Graduating students will receive direction on ceremony proceedings, pick up their gowns as well as receive a light breakfast. It is very important that students attend this rehearsal so that the following ceremony flows properly.

9:00-11:00am at the NSAC Langille Athletic Centre

NSAC Class of 2010 Parade
Students arrive at Jenkins Hall to receive their boutonniere/corsages and to line up for the march escorted by a bagpiper from Jenkins Hall to Langille Athletic Centre.

Students arrive at Jenkins Hall at 1:00pm and parade commences at 1:45pm

NSAC Convocation 2010
The main event! Guests are already seated while graduating students march into the ceremony. Ceremony contains addresses from NSAC executives, a guest speaker and the presentation of the degrees and dilpomas!

2:00pm at the NSAC Langille Athletic Centre

NSAC Convocation 2010 Reception
The reception is a great time to get some photos of graduating students with friends, faculty and family. There will a great assortment of sandwiches, sweets, punch and cake. The reception also serves as a mini-mall for NSAC souvenirs and must haves! The Bookstore will have a selection of NSAC souvenirs available for purchase. As well Students' Union sells frames for the degrees, dilpomas and/or grad photos which can be purchased through cash or cheque. Professional DVDs and photos from the ceremony will be available here as well.

Reception is immediately following convocation and usually lasts about an hour.
Only cash or cheque will be accepted.
Gowns must be returned by 5:00pm.
