A Silver Distinction medal will be presented to Janet Walker of Sussex, NB and a Bronze Distinction Medal will be presented to David Brennan, of Johnville NB.

The NSAC’s system of Distinction Awards is designed to express the university’s acknowledgment and appreciation of those graduating students who devote their time, energy and talent to student affairs and athletics. The system is fashioned so that only those students who demonstrate strong character and superior ability in intellectual endeavor and athletic achievement and who exhibit definite qualities of leadership, will receive these Distinction Awards.

Samantha Butler, an international student from England and Ashley Gillies of Belleisle Creek, NB, will receive the NSAC Student Leadership Award.

Student Leadership Awards reward and encourage student leadership in the NSAC community. The recipient must be planning on returning to NSAC next year as a student and have demonstrated his or her capacity to have improved student and general life at NSAC by organizing or leading groups, events and activities on the NSAC campus and/or abroad.

The Noel Enman Memorial Award, instituted in 1984, is presented annually to a technician or technology graduate whose personality and fellowship has contributed to student life and activities thereby gaining the respect of students and faculty. This award will be presented to Joye Sears of Shelburne, NS.
