Cable TV, Phone and Wireless
 |
| Cable TV, phone and wireless internet is available in all student rooms. Students are responsible to bring their own TV and cable cord, and their own phone. The phones allow local calls only, if a student wishes to make long distance calls we suggest purchasing a calling card. Wireless internet is available in all areas of each residence building. An Ethernet cord may also be used if a student would like to receive internet that way. |
Common Areas
 |
| Each residence has different common areas in which students can get together to study, watch TV, take part in a residence program or just socialize. All TV lounges now have a modern flat screen TV with cable that can also be used to set up game or movie nights. There is a TV portal in the main lobby of every building which displays campus news as well as news that is specific for residence. |
Laundry
 |
| There is no need to save your quarters. Each residence has five washers and five dryers that are shared among all residents. A laundry fee is paid at the beginning of that year that allows students to do as much laundry as they want. Don't worry if you have never done laundry before - an RA will be happy to explain the process to you. |
Mail
|
| Each student in residence has the opportunity to receive mail and have their own mail box. Students must go to the Mail Room, located at the back of Cumming Hall to pick up their key and be assigned a mailbox in their building. Mail is delivered daily (Monday-Friday). If a parent wishes to send a care package, or if I student orders a large package, it must be delivered to the mail room. A notification will be sent to the student to pick up the package there. Packages will not be accepted at the residence office. |
Food Services
 |
| Food services are provided by Chartwells in Jenkins Hall. Every student who lives in residence is required to have a meal plan. The meal plans offered here are unique in that you can choose to eat at anytime of the day, and can eat as much as you like. There is no declining balance on the students account or counted meals. |
Safety & Security
| All of our residence buildings are secure buildings. There is security on campus at all times. To find out more about Safety & Security click here. |
