No doubt you have heard about NSAC's unique position among institutions of
higher learning in Nova Scotia. Centrally located in Truro/Bible Hill, the 165 hectare farm and university complex has evolved into a dynamic hub of educational and research activity that is rapidly gaining an international reputation for its innovative programs and industrial partnerships. What you may not know is that somewhere along the road to international renown, the College began quietly to build a reputation as one of the best places in Nova Scotia for businesses and other organizations to hold meetings and conferences. And what better place to bring great minds together than at NSAC, itself a center of excellence in creative research and education. Today, NSAC hosts approximately 40 conferences annually, 90% of which have annual dates reserved.

What Makes NSAC an Ideal Place to Meet?

Cited by Chatelaine magazine as one of the ten best towns in Canada, Truro (pop. 12,000) has much to offer visitors, including a variety of shopping venues within easy reach of the College. NSAC's location in Truro/Bible Hill, Nova Scotia's hubtown, puts it at the center of a highway network to all parts of the province including a four-lane highway to nearby Halifax, an international port. Halifax International Airport is only a 45 minute drive away. Truro is also on the Canadian National Railway's main Halifax - Montreal line with daily passenger and freight service.
