Improve your knowledge and skill in the application of pesticides with an emphasis on application in the agricultural industry. This course will cover calculations and calibration procedures. Also covered will be resistance, new product registrations, stewardwhip and diagnosis. Eligible course participants
will be awarded 5 re-certification points in the Nova Scotia
Pesticide Re-certification Program.

the Pesticide Applicator’s Re-certification Credit Program
Who Should Attend?
Persons holding a valid Pesticide Applicator’s
license. Also may be of interest to those who may not be licensed
applicators, but want to keep current in pesticide application
technology.

Instructor
Glen Sampson is recently retired from NSAC where he taught topics in weed and pest management. He conducts research on weed control, including strategies to reduce pesticide use. His research program included biological controls for perennial weeds, control of weeds in blueberry fields and topics in integrated weed management. He continues to deliver presentations on pest management issues across Canada.
