About the Pesticide Applicator’s Re-certification Credit Program
Licensed pesticide applicators that participate in approved training sessions, such as this one, can accumulate Pesticide Recertification Points (PRCP’s) over a five-year period. By obtaining sufficient PRCP’s, (currently 15) individuals are no longer required to write the pesticide applicator’s exam every five years.
Course participants will be eligible for 5 PRCP’s toward the renewal of their Nova Scotia Pesticide Applicator’s License. Please note that the Department of the Environment has stipulated that a maximum of 10 PRCP’s can be accumulated in one calendar year.
