Welcome to the Department of Business and Social Sciences.
We are diverse in academic scope including business, economics, rural studies, communication, english, history, political science, sociology and community health.
 In addition to disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research the Department supports academic degree and diploma programs including the Diploma of Enterprise Management; Agricultural Business and Agricultural Economics majors and minors in the B.Sc. (Agr); graduate studies; and the Dronten University of Applied Sciences Bachelor of Administration (Honours) in International Food Business.
Furthermore, a number of new and exciting degree programs
are approaching their final approvals. These are a Bachelor
of Management in Rural Enterprise, Bachelor of Arts in Rural
Community Studies, a Bachelor of Technology in Management,
and a M.Sc. in Social Sciences and Rural Economy. We are
expecting approval from MPHEC before the fall of 2010.
