Why Study Aquaculture and Aquatic Science at NSAC?
The NSAC, in association with Dalhousie University, offers a four-year Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Science. Within this program, the Aquaculture Major provides the only opportunity in Atlantic Canada for comprehensive undergraduate training in this field.
Our graduates train with specifically designed courses in aquaculture, aquatic science, business and hands-on skills that provide them with the practical knowledge and professional skills employers seek .
Students learn from and meet industry professionals through touring numerous hatchery and grow-out sites, processing plants, fish health, feed industry and research facilities and by attending conferences and trade fairs.
