The Atlantic Poultry Research Institute is administered by a Board of Directors which represents all stakeholders, comprising of: chicken, egg and turkey producers; the hatchery, processing and feed manufacturing industries; provincial poultry extension; and the three participating research centres (Nova Scotia Agricultural College, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and University of Prince Edward Island). The institute is managed out of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.
