The Friend of NSAC Award will recognize individuals or organizations from outside the NSAC community who have been instrumental in furthering the aims of NSAC.
The candidate should:
be outside the college community — not an NSAC employee, student group or alumni organization
be unpaid or if paid, receive a stipend rather than a salary
been actively committed over a number of years
made obvious contributions to the objectives and growth of NSAC
not be eligible for other types of recognition (associate,
honourary doc..)
not be proposed just because of monetary donations by the candidate
